For a die hard fan of Jimi Hendrix, this is one piece of memorabilia that NO ONE has ever heard! A demo tape of ‘Stone Free’, ‘Up From The Skies’, ‘Ain’t No Telling’ and ‘Little Miss Lover’ have been discovered. They’re expected to fetch over $250,000. What’s also interesting is that there are a few other oddities that the legendary guitarist owned that will be sold, such as a dry cleaning bill? According to CNN, there’s also a letter from Hendrix requesting his birth certificate.
I feel like the demo tapes belong in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, not in someone’s home collection. These are extremely rare and the top bidder will still have restrictions on how they might try and license them to certain companies.
