Laura Steele

Laura Steele’s voice has hit the airwaves across the country on Rock Radio stations in Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Indianapolis, Nashville & the Bay Area but her heart has always been in her home state of Indiana.

Steele is a voice for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network and is the emcee for Colts pre game events. Paving the way as the first female voice on the public address team at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, she’s now known for her work with WTHR during the month of May as an Indy 500 correspondent. Her career at Cumulus Indianapolis at Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK began in 2016.

Steele is a proud Pike High School grad and has become an Indianapolis celebrity who works tirelessly helping countless local charities promote their missions.

She remains true to her roots: in 2010 Steele was honored as Alumni of the Year at her college alma mater Columbia College Chicago, and in 2018 was inducted in the Pike High School Hall of Fame.

Steele shares her journey daily, connecting with her listeners on all social media platforms. “I am so eager to play a bigger role at Cumulus Indianapolis at WJJK playing the Classic Hits I still love after all these years!”
