It wasn’t the news that fans wanted to hear, and it certainly wasn’t the news that Heart’s Ann Wilson wanted to share. The rocker took to social media this week with the post below, reading in part that she had a medical procedure to remove part of a cancerous growth and under the advice of her doctors, Ann will have preventive chemotherapy. We’re certainly keeping Wilson in our thoughts and prayers* Unfortunately that means the remainder of the Heart tour has been postponed. Ann reassured fans in a statement saying,
“To the ticket buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025. My team is getting those details sorted and we’ll let you know the plan as soon as we can. Thank you all for the support. This is merely a pause. I’ve much more to sing.”
