Sometime between Saturday and Monday, an intruder broke into Billy Joel’s New York estate. Whoever it was got in through a garage door, smashing the glass to undo the lock.

According to TMZ, the intruder(s) vandalized around a dozen of Billy’s motorcycles as well as an office.

The musician is a huge gear head—he has a large collection and even owns a bike shop in town.

It’s not clear if Billy was home during the break in. Regardless, he didn’t notice the damage until Monday. The cops were called and an investigation is underway.
