At the box office Tom Hanks and Robin Wright’s new film “Here” fizzled with 5 million as Venom 3 rules again!
The fantasy drama that uses AI so Tom Hanks and Robin Wright can play younger (and older) versions of themselves, wasn’t so magical for movie goers over the weekend.
The film, which reunites the “Forrest Gump” co-stars with their director Robert Zemeckis, follows the inhabitants of a single house over the course of 100 years opened in 5th place with only 5 million in U.S. theaters.
Also new to theaters, Liam Neeson’s “Absolution” misfired in its opening weekend, landing at No. 12 but will most likely land in the top 5 once it starts streaming. Remember Liam has a “very special skill set”!
After an October that’s been heavy on tricks and light on treats movies Amazon is looking for a big haul with the Christmas comedy “Red One,” with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson playing Santa’s head of security opens on Nov. 15. Count me in on this one! The Rock to the box office rescue! I’m a huge movie buff, movie goer and streamer and that’s my box office wrap up!
