Thor The God of Thunder might have teamed up with the scheduling gods for a- musical collaboration fans weren’t expecting in Detroit.  Saturday night Billy Joel was in The Motor City performing at Comerica Park and he brought out Def Leppard’s Joe Elliot as a surprise guest.

Billy Joel could play for hours with his own material but he’s been known to keep fans on their toes with select covers scattered into shows. In addition to Elliot’s guest turn on “Pour Some Sugar On Me” Joel’s set included bits of “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” and “Start Me Up”.
