The Frosty has been a staple at Wendy’s for decades. In fact, according to Reader’s Digest, the chocolate dessert was one of the five original menu items at the fast food chain.
While there have been a few new flavors introduced over the years, chocolate and vanilla have been the only two to stick around. However, rumor has it that vanilla will be removed from the menu for the summer to make way for a new Frosty flavor.
A warm-weather favorite—the Summer Strawberry Salad—will make a return next month along with the brand new Strawberry Frosty! I wonder if I can get them to mix chocolate and strawberry in one cup because that sounds amazing…
Technically, it’s just a vanilla Frosty mixed with a strawberry-flavored syrup. Wendy’s did try a Strawberry Frosty Shake back around 2010 but didn’t keep it around. Here’s hoping it goes better this time around.
