I love a good pair of Vans. I mean, who has time for shoe laces nowadays?
The company known for their slip on kicks is currently running a contest to help art programs in high schools across the country.
According to their website, the Vans High School Custom Culture was created to “inspire and empower high school students to embrace their creativity through art and design and bring attention to diminishing arts education budgets.”
Fifty schools were chosen as finalists based on two prompts: hometown pride and a tribute to the Vans co-founder and his legacy. Noblesville High School’s designs from seven students are among those that you can vote on through May 6.
There will be five winners, four of which will receive $15,000 for their school’s art program; the overall winner will get $50,000.
