It’s the elephant in the room…the chocolate elephant that have some talking. Can the winning driver of the Indy 500 request chocolate milk if he/she wins the world famous race? I talked with Indiana dairy farmer Jill Houin, who will be handing the bottle of milk to this Sunday’s winner, and asked that very question. She didn’t give me a straight answer and I wasn’t expecting it really. I mean it’s been white milk since the 40’s that the victorious drivers have been chugging and splashing all over themselves in Victory Circle. Can you imagine how brown milk would look on video and photos? I don’t care! I say bring on the CHOCOLATE MILK! I bet Hershey’s would pony up some big bucks for a sponsorship opportunity to be a part of this Indy 500 tradition.
