\”Saturday Night Live\” has revealed its early Season 45 details. For starters, Woody Harrelson will host the season premiere on September 28th. Butperhaps the biggest news is that Eddie Murphy will host a December \”SNL\” episode!
When Eddie Murphy first appeared on “Saturday Night Live” in November 1980, the show was on the brink of becoming \”Saturday Night Dead\”. Creator Lorne Michaels had departed before the sixth season, AND most of the high-profile cast was gone. But Murphy became a breakout star who would later be credited with keeping the show afloat.
This will be Murphy\’s first time hosting \”SNL\” since 1984. He was last seen on the show for a brief appearance on the 40th anniversary special
