Remember the TV show, \”Pee-wee\’s Playhouse\”?  The show ran from 1986-1990 and starred comedian Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman, and featured a variety of wild and wacky characters and their various interaction at the playhouse.

And do you recall the theme song to Pee-wee\’s Playhouse?  Well, that theme song was the topic of conversation today with \”Yes? Or BS?\”  The statement today was:

\”Cyndi Lauper sang the theme song for Pee-wee\’s Playhouse\”….Yes or BS?

And if you said \”Yes\”….you\’re absolutely right!  The big thing is, Cyndi didn\’t want people to know she sang the theme, because she was afraid it might hurt her album sales, so she was credited as \”Ellen Shaw\”.
